Sven Kalden was born in 1969 in Kassel and graduated in 1999 at the Academy of Art Berlin-Weißensee. Kalden joined the artist initiative Synthetic Forces in 2006. Kalden lives and works in Berlin.

Born in 1973, Leo Berk (Seattle) received an MFA from the University of Washington in 1999. His work has appeared in several magazines, and has been collected by Tacoma Art Museum, Frye Art Museum, and City of seattle.

> Flavio Mangione

Flavio Mangione (Rome 1966) for many years he has been involved in the field of historical and critical research on Italian Rationalisms Architectures, publishing books and articles, organizing exhibitions and conferences in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. Ph.D. in “Composition and Theory of Architectural Design”. Winner of international contests of Architectural Design, he also organizes and directs lectures of art, architecture and physics applied to architectural materials.


Flavio Mangione (Roma 1966) svolge da anni attività di ricerca sull'Architettura Razionalista italiana, pubblicando testi e organizzando mostre e convegni in collaborazione con il Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali. Dottore di ricerca in composizione e teorie dell'architettura. Vincitore di concorsi internazionali di progettazione architettonica, ha curato e organizzato conferenze di arte, architettura e fisica applicata a materiali plastici, vetrosi e cementizi.

> Francesco Sorrentino

Francesco Sorrentino, architect, Ph.D. in Architectural Design and lecturer at DIARC, University of Naples ‘Federico II’. He works in various design fields. He worked on many architectural projects and took part in exhibitions. He received  awards in design competitions. He is the author of monographs and scientific articles in specialized magazines in the field of theory of architectural design.

> Ada Tolla (LOT-EK)

Ada Tolla is a founding partner of LOT-EK, a practice focused on the upcycling of existing industrial objects not originally intended for architecture. She graduated from  the Università di Napoli, Italy, and completed post-graduate studies at Columbia University. Together with Giuseppe Lignano, she heads the studio and teaches at Columbia University’s GSAPP. She also lectures at universities and cultural institutions worldwide.
